Overview

Architecture and construction are rapidly evolving industries that require the use of innovative technology to keep up with the increasing demand for faster, more efficient and cost-effective solutions. One such technology is 3D architectural software, which has become an indispensable tool for architects, engineers, and builders alike. Block, a cutting-edge 3D architectural software, has emerged as a leader in this field and is rapidly gaining popularity among professionals and hobbyists alike.

What is Block?

Block is a powerful and user-friendly 3D architectural software that allows users to create highly detailed, accurate, and visually appealing building models. It is designed to meet the needs of architects, engineers, contractors, and other professionals involved in the building design and construction process. With Block, users can create detailed models of buildings, including interiors and exteriors, electrical and plumbing systems, HVAC systems, and more.

At first I had two ideas one for a nanny app and the other for an architectural Software, but focusing on the architecture software bringing ideas that can save time and stress is something that I look forward to, because the job it self is really stressful and not adding to the stress n the job would really help.

Mind Mapping

Previously studied Architectural Technology in Kwara state polytechnic Nigeria I sketch a map of things I know are related to architecture.

After the discussion we had in class about working on a pitch presentation for possible investors. My Idea is to design a software that architects can use to create 3D units in terms of shape and size then send them to a 3D printer and give them to the client to be able to assemble the units into a model, then show it to the architect for the client to be able to express them selves to the architect, for the client to get more involved in the planning process of his dream house, work space and many more;

This can also speed up workflow for Architects because the architect doesn't need to keep going to the client for review because the client has already expressed what he wants you to design for him with the model.

More so, we cant say all architects are good with designing models manually and even if some can do it might not be perfect, but with the software you can design models and send them to a 3D printer.

Lastly they say humans are moved by what they see with the software the client, contractors and everyone concerned with the construction can visualise the project.

As part of my research I created a survey to know the percentage of architects that are able to convince clients easily from those that find it hard.

Benefits of Using Block

One of the main benefits of using Block is that it can save architects, engineers, and builders a significant amount of time and effort.
